Hey everybody, David here! Today has been great for our cause. Over 25,000 likes in less than a week? If I didn't see it for myself then I wouldn't believe it! We can't stop growing yet though. There will be slumps and there will be spikes, but we must never give up. Keep staying strong and civil, and we'll get to our goal in no time. As stated in last night's wrap-up, we are currently looking at emails and links submitted to us. I am happy to report that we are on track with our goal to be done by Monday night. With that being said, a few points need to be addressed.
First of all, campaigns need to be better organized. We have this great mail-in one coming up, but there are so many more great and small ones that get lost in the wall. From now on, we ask that you not only post something like a campaign on the wall, but email us as well (again, it's rockvolnutt@ymail.com) with CAMPAIGN in the beginning of the subject. We do go through every single e-mail, but clearly campaigns are a priority. With con season coming up, and with your help, we will be able to address this now, before it can hurt us. Additionally, please send us links with LINK at the subject and MENTION if a site has mentioned the movement so that we can put them on the list. With con season coming up in many places, this becomes even more important.
Secondly, we've received emails and seen wall posts about merchandise supporting the cause. We are holding off on this for now because we want to see the best way to go about it for the entire community, not just a single Facebook page. We also want such a thing to be done in a legal manner.
As far as the blog goes, we are on track for it being up-to-date with content and links on Monday. That is also the day when daily posts will be made on the front as a change-log of what's new. As far as the solution to the discussion problem, we are still open to any ideas and plan to decide on something this week, so stay tuned.
Well, that about sums everything up. For those who have extended your hands to help us and are still waiting for a response: we WILL get back to you shortly. We are united in a single cause and it is imperative that we have a Rock-solid start, something that can only be achieved by working together.
